A commercial description should identify the working body as well as the make and model. Explain the truck configuration and approximate size, van cargo access and fitted storage, or ute tray and canopy details. Mention modifications affecting the dimensions of an unwanted 4WD. Agree which fittings remain included and which accessories you plan to keep before accepting an offer. Clear your tools, stock and business records from all compartments ahead of handover so the proposed vehicle sale leaves no uncertainty about loose contents or attached equipment.
What affects your scrap car offer?
An old photograph and a recent fault report can describe different stages of the same car. Explain when each piece of information applied and identify work completed or components removed since then. Separate confirmed findings from an uncertain cause and say which loose items are still included. Ask what extra details would help assess the current vehicle. The useful enquiry joins those facts into one present description rather than allowing an older image to suggest equipment or condition that no longer exists.

If the pickup location has restricted opening hours or a contact who must arrange entry, discuss those limits before confirming plans. Tell the team where the vehicle sits within the property and whether the attending person can provide access at the proposed time. Explain wheel or steering problems in advance. Removal is free with no hidden removal fees. Confirm an available appointment for that address, clear belongings and coordinate entry for the agreed slot instead of assuming attendance alone makes the parked car accessible.
Before you agree to sell
Moving a vehicle after an assessment can change collection arrangements even when the condition and equipment stay the same. Tell the team about the new position before relying on an appointment planned for the earlier access route. Confirm the final amount, included items and payment arrangements directly before accepting an offer. Check all compartments for belongings before handover. Phone 03 9039 2829 with condition or access updates so the agreed sale and pickup plan remain based on the vehicle actually available rather than an old location description.
Three steps from enquiry to collection
- Describe the vehicle. Give the make, model, year, condition and any missing components.
- Agree on the details. Confirm the offer, included equipment, payment arrangements and free removal.
- Prepare for pickup. Have the requested documents ready, clear belongings and arrange access at the confirmed appointment.
