Sell My Scrap Car Prahran VIC
An unwanted car may still occupy room long after you stopped using it. Wreckers Cash for Cars can discuss an assessment before another repair bill or further preparation for sale. To enquire about selling a scrap car in Prahran VIC, contact 03 9039 2829 with its current condition and actual collection details. Scrap trucks, vans, utes and 4WDs can also be discussed, including the body and equipment intended to form part of the proposed sale.

A commercial enquiry needs the working body described alongside the badge. Give the truck configuration and approximate size, van load-area and installed-storage details, or ute tray and canopy arrangement. Mention modifications affecting the overall dimensions of an unwanted 4WD. Clarify which fittings stay and which accessories you intend to retain before an offer is accepted. Clear your tools, supplies and business records from cab and cargo compartments before handover so the vehicle and included equipment are clearly distinguished from loose contents left inside.
What affects your scrap car offer?
Tell the team what is present now, not only how the car drove before it was parked. Identify removed components and explain whether they remain included loose after unfinished repairs. Describe known damage and mechanical trouble without guessing at an uncertain cause. An old image or equipment list may no longer reflect the vehicle, so clarify changes before relying on an estimate. Ask which additional details would help understand the actual car rather than expecting an assessment based solely on its model name or former working condition.
Free scrap car removal in Prahran
Describe the approach to the Prahran parking position and any gate, overhead cover or obstacle affecting entry. Mention wheel or steering problems before timing is agreed. Vehicle removal is free with no hidden removal fees. Confirm an available appointment for the actual address and arrange entry and emptied belongings for that slot. Discuss preferred timing early rather than assuming a request is booked, and update the team if the car is moved before pickup so the access plan can be reconsidered.
Before you agree to sell
Check personal items kept with vehicle keys or paperwork before handover as well as belongings inside the car. Keep what you intend to retain separate from the agreed vehicle equipment, and ask the team which information is needed for the attending person. Confirm the amount, included accessories and payment arrangements before accepting an offer. Phone 03 9039 2829 if condition or access changes afterwards so the appointment follows current details rather than an earlier description or an assumption about which items are part of the sale.
Three steps from enquiry to collection
- Describe the vehicle. Give the make, model, year, condition and any missing components.
- Agree on the details. Confirm the offer, included equipment, payment arrangements and free removal.
- Prepare for pickup. Have the requested documents ready, clear belongings and arrange access at the confirmed appointment.
